Description

In tribute to its long-standing legacy in the world of James Bond, OMEGA presents the Seamaster Diver 300M “Bond” edition.

This 42 mm model is crafted in stainless steel and includes a uni-directional rotating bezel with a grade 5 titanium ring, on which the diving scale is laser-ablated in positive relief. The dot at 12 o’clock is filled with white Super-LumiNova.

Blue aluminium is used to create the dial, which is laser-engraved with a wave pattern and features skeletonized, polished and faceted rhodium-plated hands, along with indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova. The central seconds hand is also rhodium-plated, and the markings are transferred in white. The hour and seconds hands emit a blue glow in line with the indexes, while the minute hand emits a green glow in line with the dot on the diving bezel.

The watch is presented on a brushed mesh bracelet with clasp, and is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. The polished-brushed caseback follows OMEGA’s wave-edged design and is engraved with “NAIAD LOCK”, “DIVER 300M” and the water resistance, while a rhodium-plated gun-barrel decoration forms part of the rotor, visible through the flat sapphire crystal.

The watch is delivered in a special presentation box in blue, opened by push-button featuring the 007 logo.

• Anti-magnetic: The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
• Chronometer: Label given to a watch which has been successfully tested by an accredited and independent laboratory in order to receive a certificate compliant with the chronometer ISO 3159 standard.
• Helium escape valve: Decompression system which allows helium to escape from inside the watch when the watch is worn for professional use in pressure chambers. (Long-term underwater work, crude oil exploration, etc.)
• Master Chronometer Certified: Guaranteeing the Swiss industry’s highest standard of precision, performance and magnetic-resistance, as set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
• Screw-in crown: Self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case, used for highly water resistant divers’ watches.
• Transparent caseback: A transparent caseback – frequently made of sapphire – makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.
• Unidirectional rotating bezel: A bezel which turns in only one direction. Particularly useful for divers who cannot accidentally rotate it in the wrong direction, which could cause them to miscalculate their dive times. A rotating bezel makes it easy to measure elapsed time.
