Description

The Seamaster Aqua Terra is a superb tribute to OMEGA’s rich maritime heritage. In this 41mm model, the symmetrical case has been crafted from stainless steel, with a wave-edged design featured on the back.

The silvery dial is distinguished by a horizontal “teak” pattern which is inspired by the wooden decks of luxury sailboats. There is also a date window at 6 o’clock and blackened hands and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova. Orange is used for the central seconds hand, the “Seamaster” wording and the four quarter numbers on the minute track.

The grey strap is made from structured rubber and includes grey lining and an additional stainless steel link which integrates it to the case. This certified chronometer is powered by the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8900, certified at the industry’s highest standard by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

Features

• Anti-magnetic: The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
• Chronometer: Label given to a watch which has been successfully tested by an accredited and independent laboratory in order to receive a certificate compliant with the chronometer ISO 3159 standard.

• Screw-in crown: Self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case, used for highly water resistant divers’ watches.
• Time zone function: Allows the hour hand to be easily adjusted to different time zones without stopping the watch.
• Transparent caseback: A transparent caseback – frequently made of sapphire – makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.
